What is Trellis Marketplace?

Other vendor malls and market spaces are traditionally sectioned off “warehouse style” areas, that are way over-priced for the quality that they end up providing their small business partnerships. They can be cluttered, hard to work with, and sometimes completely jumbled, leaving very little room to properly and uniquely market and sell merchandise. At the end of the day- it is the customer and the small business owner that suffer.

Trellis Marketplace is a co-creative and collaborative artisan marketplace. We strive to help small business owners succeed by growing profits though style curation, top of mind marketing, and directly connecting them to a thriving customer base we have been diligently serving since August of 2017. We are located in a historic, century-old, renovated church building in the bustling down town business district in Elizabethtown, PA.

We strive to keep our retail atmosphere authentic, peaceful, and creatively designed- we aim for consistent freshness of products and displays with the major focus on collaboration.

Flow through our atmosphere, our merchandise, and the times of the seasons is important for us to embrace. Trellis Marketplace is dedicated to the entrepreneurial spirit of change and being flexible, striving for diligence daily, being honest, communicative, and focused on our shared goals.

Our co-creative business model with our many collaborating vendor partners is constantly bringing fresh and fantastic interest to our small town customers, visiting clientele, and our individual partnerships!

Your Guide to the Magic!

Susan Zeager, owner and operator of Trellis Marketplace is the guiding force behind this collaborative business space. With the support from Charley Montgomery (Visual Merchandiser / Event Coordinator / Barista) and Pam Zeager ( Groovy Bean Cafe Manager/ Assistant Manager) our team works as a triple threat, each bringing a unique and specific set of skills to help promote and sell the wares of all of our small business partners.

Taking on Trellis Marketplace in 2018, Charley is the creative energy that drives Trellis. Curating a space for co-creation within a small town and building upon a family legacy are just two of the many reasons that fuel the firey passion Charley has for the business. In the fall of 2023 and after 5 years of ownership, Charley decided to sell Trellis Marketplace to her trusted partner in business and owner of our anchor store, Whippoorwill Boutique, Susan Zeager. This transition felt like the best possible business decision in order to preserve this collaborative boutique, while also gaining more support with the growing responsibilities.
